How do I maintain my PAP machine and supplies?

  • You should regularly clean all of your supplies; we recommend on a weekly basis. Soap and water or a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts water will generally get the job done.
  • Regular supply replacement is also key to help maintain properly fitting equipment. Items are replaced on a 1/3/6 month basis depending on the item in question.
  • We also offer the SoClean device as a method of sanitizing your equipment.

My PAP mask is leaking. How can I fix this?

  • Leaking can happen for various reasons. The most common reason is that the mask is ill-fitting, meaning it isn't clean, or it is too lose or too tight. A simple cleaning and adjustment of straps can solve this problem usually. If the problem persists, there is a good chance that you just need to replace the cushion on your mask because the cushion currently being used is worn out. Lastly, if the leak still continues, the last option is to completely change mask styles because there is a good chance that the mask you currently have just isn't a great fit with your facial structure.

What happens if I have an oxygen emergency after hours?

  • We offer 24/7 on call services for oxygen and all life support products. In the event of an emergency, you should immediately switch to your backup tank system that is provided and then call our office to reach the on call staff. This includes equipment failure and power failures. If your equipment is faulty, we will exchange your machine with a working unit. If you have experienced a power failure due to weather, etc, we will supply extra tanks so that you can wait out the failure or get to a location with power to hook up your home unit.
